Upstream wants to use separate icons (no emblems) so I asked to the icon
naming spec guru, and he told that the icon names should be folder-foo
So this is the new patch.
Anyway upstream seems really not so interested on giving different icons for
xdg directories...

I found another option which works correctly now:
I did set 'SVNAllowBulkUpdates Off' in my mod_dav_svn config file and now
memory consumption stays normal (450MB with about 10 users) during the whole
checkout, even with about 1.6GB data / 6000 files to get (few hours required).

I have exactly the same problem.
the problem stops if i exit SCIM.. but closing SCIM is not an option, sometimes
i want to type in japanese
before installing japanese there was no such problem. With other
messengers (pidgin, kmess, emesene, kopete) this does not happen.

keyboard freezes
Thanks to Peng and GreySim, that finally worked. But I don't quite get
it: I tried adding the desktop files in the main menu and that did NOT
work. You really have to sudo into the /usr/share/applications/ files.
So it really seems to be a bug in the emacs22 package.

Open with... does not
Ich bin von mid auf diesen Bugreport hingewiesen worden. Ich habe die
gleichen Probleme mit meinem Laptop AmiloPro und ich würde mich freuen
,wenn das Problem durch ein update behoben werden könnte. Solange muß
ich wohl bei Ubuntu 8.10 bleiben.

Hi Peter,
In my opinion... no, the behaviour should not be changed, since in my
specific example, I could use notifications. I have a dual-head setup.
However, since the majority of users are using one monitor, it is
definitely a close call as to what should be done.

I think it should be Home Folder throughout, using the user's name
means that the same functionality has a different name every time. Open
for discussion though.
