I'm also affected by this bug, but it only appears after locking and
unlocking the screen. When booting the system from scratch, everything
works smoothly. I'm using a GeForce 6600 GT with current nvidia drivers

The last version of Ubuntu to include legacy GRUB was 9.04 Jaunty.
Those directions don't work with GRUB 2 (i.e. you should NOT edit the
menu manually).
Not quite sure what to do with GRUB 2. Just started using the newer

[i965gm] Webcam sometimes
I am experiencing the same issue. I have the latest KDE/natty installs,
and I believe this 100% CPU saturation was triggered, when I was moving
between folders in Thunderbird 3.10, thunderbird had hung. Yup, sure
enough I just killed thunderbird, and dbus-daemon is no longer at 100%
