from splitted desktop. Simply Ubuntu's stock libva1 package has a higher
version number than the one from splitted desktop. So you need to remove
it first before installing the other one.

I am trying to build a Lucid kernel, with changes to the config. As a
test, I chose to disable btrfs (from module, to not included). I found
that the kernel would not compile, using the debian/rules binary-debs
command, though it would work with a make-kpkg command.

One striking difference between the two modem-manager.logs is that in
11.10 there is communication with ttyUSB1 in parallel, whereas in 11.04
it is type ignored after the probing.
The commands that are going to ttyUSB0 seem not to be different in both
logs, but the response from there stops at

No, what said in #6 is not correct.
After running another apt-get update, I got update notifier notifying me that I
had 2 updates to install, but when I tried to install them with update
manager, I got the same problem that it does not install the updates.

Generally, my Inspiron 1525 laptop wakes up fine after suspend, but
sometimes it looks like it's going to resume, but then it appears to
restart X, and all of my programs have been closed.
