When kmail loses the connection to my mail server it never manages to
re-connect. Even closing it and opening it up again doesn't help. It
just sits there saying Loading folder..

return and plug back in, the screen often goes mental. There are
flashing black bands with sharp diagonals appearing at the refresh rate
on the screen. The only way I've found to resolve this is to restart

this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #917614, so is being marked as such.
From what I can see on a quick review is that:
- the .pot file magic is not run in the Debian package
- and a few files are installed differently:
