I have a macbook 5,5 and I've had these problems too, until I realized

The Belgian apple keyboards are exactly the same as the French!!!
When I switch to French Macintosh everything works fine!!
Someone just has to make a copy of the French Macintosh and copy it to Belgian
Oh just realised there isn't even a belgian macintosh keyboard in there...
I was just using Belgian Alternative with macbook selected as keyboard model.
So there is not confusion at all. Someone just needs to copy paste the

now works for me as workaround. Or maybe even as replacement for xpdf/epdfview.

As for #1 (wrong ffmpeg options) the corrections would be:
-metadata title=
instead of
-title
etc.
So the whole line (2064 in /usr/bin/pacpl in 4.0.5) would look like:
return -metadata title=\$tag_name{title}\ -metadata
track=\$tag_name{track}\ -metadata
I have a STudio 1749 and experienced the same problem when moving to
2.6.38 from 2.6.35. My hardware profile is very close to the original
poster's. I too was frustrated with the problem.
However, after enabling the pm_trace functionality, I was able to
identify the offending modules:
