upgrade` without noticing what was going to change. For some reason the
package nvidia-glx-185 was removed and if I try to install it I get a
notification that xserver-xorg
But this the issue. You can't use a computer without a graphics driver.
Anyway, where can I find the package nvidia-graphics-drivers-190 it
doesn't show up on my repos

I've done the second part but it's saying you should go back to the

I tried using the gnome3 PPA for a couple of hours and noticed it was causing
multiple crashes to the desktop, so I purged the PPA and restored the old
versions of the installed packages using synaptic.
For some reason now I keep getting the error message whenever I try using the

I was viewing firefox's prefs.js file in gedit. When I tried scrolling
up and down gedit froze, I tried this over and over and everytime gedit
freezes indefinitely (at least a minute).

I don't know about that. I had just updated my system just minutes
before I started Transmission.. a Couple of minutes later it crashed.

Whenever I start empathy, it starts fine. The main windows shows up and
the MeMenu changes to connected but empathy no longer shows its
notification icon. This means I have to open the main menu everytime I
want to open empathy window
