~/.cache/geeqie and ~/.config directories and reinstalled geeqie.

partition. I just installed PS-BSD on /dev/sda3 of a system which has
Ubuntu 12.04 and Windows XP on it. Previously I had installed both
FreeBSD and NetBSD installed in the same partition (slice ad0as3 in BSD

I have just installed PC-BSD in the sda3 partition of a system with XP
and Ubuntu 12.04 installed in it. Previously, update-grub detected
FreeBSD and NetBSD installations in the same partition (BSD slice
ada0s3).
However, update-grub failed to detect the PC-BSD partition. I tried

I also booted the Xubuntu 11.10 i386 live cd on another computer, and
found the same problem in xfce4-terminal, after installing xfce4-xkb-
plugin and the Maori layout. However the AltGr + vowel combinations
worked in Pidgin, which I tried.
So this problem is not confined to the 64-bit version.
This problem indeed disappeared in later versions. I have been running
most recently xubuntu 11.10 and now the corresponding version of Linux
Mint, neither of which uses Gnome. So there's no point in continuing
with this bug any longer.
