Hello all,

Secondly, I have a Compaq Persino CQ60 with Atheros 5001 wireless card
and when I try to connect to a wireless box, it says wireless disabled
by hardware

I have had this problem and reported but they linked it with this bug,
and i havent even got a X40.
I have a Toshiba Satellite L40-17U and the screen is a LG Philips. I
have Ubuntu 8.10 and the screen dimms with or wilthout the AC power.
If anyone needs more information on my Laptop please ask.

Hi, i have two camera, both Goodmans. One is a Goodmans G-SHOT 5034TFT
the other is a G-SHOT 5046TFT. Neither are mounting or showing in
'places' or 'computer' when they are connected. They do show in terminal
when typed lsusb.
Bus 004 Device 007: ID 0595:4343 Zoran
The wireless is built into the laptop, its a Realtek 8187B. The wireless does
always work with Windows Vista, and had no problems with it until Ubuntu.
Ubuntu also works perfect with it. I've tried what you asked and it contiunes
to happen and Windows Vista still didnt detect it without me
Sorry forgot to say its a Realtek RTL8187B. Oops! sorry :)

with my partners. I have a Intel Pentium Dual-Core T-2330 1GB Ram Dual boot

wireless switched back on. I restarted the pc for the second time and
