Here's how to reproduce it:
Open glchess.
Select Game-New, or press Ctrl-n).
Set one player to Human, and the other to Gnu Chess.
Click Start to begin the game.
Now go to Help-Contents. An Info Bar with the following text appears:
[Color of Human] Wins
One of the players has died
