Ubuntu better. Is this a duplicate of bug 209499 . Does if occur if
compiz is turned off?

I've been having the same problem. In addition, when I do get back to a
normal screen (after hitting F11 twice), the Mozilla window is silver,
as if either a different theme (I have it on default brown) or as if
it's not selected. The trick to get out of it (entering exiting full-
screen mode

I've changed the status to Confirmed and also changed it to This bug
affects me too (change). Beyond my little work-arounds i haven't got

umm the main Ubuntu taskbar at the top of the screen can be moved by
right-clicking on it and selecting the 'Allow Panel to be moved' then
simply drag it out the way although it doesnt actually move until

I don't understand what you mean?
When the window extends above the top menu, I also do not see the top
bar of Mozilla above File, edit, view. etc. I also do not see the menu
