This prevents my GSM modem from working.
ppd connects (got ip and DNS) and after a while NetworkManager kill
everything saying
NetworkManager: WARN pppd_timed_out(): Looks like pppd didn't
initialize our dbus module
In auth.log I do find this:
dbus-daemon: Rejected send message, 7 matched
This addition to /etc/dbus-1/system.d/nm-pptp-service.conf
policy group=dialout
allow own=org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.pptp/
allow send_destination=org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.pptp/
allow own=org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.pptp-ppp/
