Re-testing this situation on jaunty alpha 6 in an enterprise environment
with a Microsoft DHCP server, it's still not addressed.

our local timeserver

That's the thing. Files aren't thumbnailed even if they change, like
when they finished being downloaded with Transmission. Also, if you open
a directory with videos before installing their necessary codecs you
will get the generic icons, and installing the codecs afterwards will do
no good.

A possibly aggravating factor is that with both the Sun and IcedTea plugins
installed, BOTH plugins are loaded. This appears to be because xulrunner is
loading plugins from two locations:
* /usr/lib/xulrunner-addons/plugins (or /usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9.0.7/plugins,
which is a symlink)
* AND
your logs seem to indicate that there is a problem with samba (keywords
cifs, smbd). how do you use samba in respect to the lvm device?
i also don't really understand why you need to use a virtual disk to
expand a LVM (but i probably won't be able to help you anyway..).

I fail to see how a standalone tree can return
bzr: ERROR: Working tree is out of date, please run 'bzr update'.
Maybe a lurking bzr specialist could explain that to me :)
If you remove the ignores, do the conflicts come back ? If you disable
the daily autocommits, does the bug disappear ?

I haven't found a fix, but I found out the corruption is different for
different resolutions. I did the following:
I edited /boot/grub/menu.lst by adding vga=ask to the kernel line. Now GRUB

3.2 install smoothly, I can call the echo test, audio and video working
with my MSI Wind Notebook, my settings from 3.0.1 was there, no crash
for this first run.

With Evolution 2.24.3 in intripid (on an intel 64bit machine) I can

I can confirm this bug on Jaunty. This error shows up for a couple of
days now. All other package upgrages are working normally, only
fonttools fails to install/upgrade with:
