At UDS I was asked to look into which boost packages we should target for
Karmic. Currently we have boost (1.34), boost1.35, boost1.37, boost1.38, and
boost-defaults in Karmic.
For Main, the boost version for Karmic will be boost1.38. It's been promoted
to main and updating has already
start deferring uploads to proposed earlier to
ensure that all builds are tried/finished on all architectures before the
archive is locked for the release.

The only supported Python version in Lucid is 2.6. While the python2.5
package is still present, building third party modules and extensions is not
supported (similar to python2.4 in Karmic).

As of about 12 hours ago, Feature Freeze is in effect for Vivid (15.04),
leading up to the release in April.
Don't fret if you have One Last Feature to get uploaded, and don't
panic and upload it untested today just to try to beat the clock. We
would rather see a feature freeze exception bug
