We use reschange.exe in our Environment. It is a nobrainer. It can change your resolution regardless of your hardware. It checks what is supported and applies that. Just use max for the params. It changes resolution, frequency and colordepth. There is also a commandline-only tool that can list all

DISAGREE! If I am writing a (hopefully it is one) solution for someones problem, he gets it direct via email. But the list has to get it too (the thought of common knowledge, you know). I get the mails on the list in a daily digest. If you wrote only to the list, I would perhaps loose some hours
