Re: [Unattended] volume control

2004-12-31 Thread Adam Peart
Just a couple updates for the two programs I wrote for controlling the volume.
For both programs, if the sound card isn't set up in Windows yet, it will
exit without any message boxes.

Download from http://www.capprogramming.com/unattended/mute.zip, and

Re: [Unattended] volume control

2004-07-25 Thread Adam Peart
As requested I now got it to be able to mute and unmute, as well as change
the volume
To use it:
volume parameter
parameter = 0 - turns the volume to 0, but doesn't actually mute it
100 - turns the volume to full
		25 - turns volume to 1/4
		50 - turns volume to 1/2
		75 - turns volume to 3/4
		off - mutes the volume
		on - unmutes the volume
eg. volume off - mutes the sound.

Download from http://capprogramming.com/volume2.zip
Also I made a program that when run will mute the volume if it isn't muted,
or unmute the volume if it is muted. There is no parameters, it does it on
its own.

Yeah, I got our developer to hack up a small .exe in vb6 which is now the
first thing run as part of our build process.

We couldn't figure out how to get it to mute though. Did you have any
success with that?

Cheers,
Mark.
