With new Ati catalyst there's no refresh errors. I tend to work with compiz and 4 workspaces. It's lightning fast and very efficient way using compiz. There's one error though. If I click material previews name and go to rendering window, it will change into rename and crash linux version. It

It's good to hear that ATI are starting to write drivers that work. Pity it took so long though. I think I've experienced occasional crashes like the one you describe, so you might be right about motif. They are very rare though for me and usually the rename works ok. On Thursday 10 Jun
