I can vaguely remember setting a parameter somewhere that would enable
log files to be rendered as xml.
Has anybody else had this dream???

I can
LogKit has an XMLFormatter. log4j also looks like it has an XMLLayout
although it says it does not create a well-formed document.

got an idea for what - perhaps - could be a nice tool for cocoon,
atleast for production sites:
Web frontend for exception handling.
Idea is that when software get's exception and goes to process
map:handle-errors error (with stack trace and stuff) would also be

to the format, and then generates a xml logFile ?
