in Calc as an ods, the err:509 would
go away.
I then re-saved as the xlsx file and still did not get the Err:509.
I do not know if anything in the file is lost during the file type changes.

found on my LibreOffice 3.5.5.2 (vista): lower case fn did not
work(error like OP), upper case FN does work. In calling up the
autotext dialog, then selecting 'formula numbering', the displayed
shortcut was FN (both uppercase).

I just did a test on my Vista system by setting a very short
auto-save(auto recovery) time. The path for my system is
C:\Users\TomW\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice\3\user\backup on my system.
When you close the file, the file copy in the'Backup
filter Col A for 'a' or 'A', then filter Col B and filter the data for
either 'hx' or 'hy'.
This will only show the rows of data that match your filter criteria.
If you use the 'Standard Filter', you can set whether it is case-sensitive.
