Something in 3.6 has changed and now the opening windows remember
their place, even across multiple monitors.
THANK YOU, TDF/LO!

I could go back to a 3.4 version, but I don't know if it's that important
to me.
Foo. I'll just live with it.

Pleas can you give us a link to the thread you started about this in the
Xubuntu forums? Are they saying this is a LO issue?
Thanks and regards from

I have not raised this as an issue in the OS forums

This problem is consistent and unerring.
As a side note, if I open a second document, it always opens on the
left edge of the left screen. This was also happening in 3.4, but at
least it could remember one document's position (right edge of right
screen instead of right edge of left screen).

I recently upgraded to LO 3.5.2.2 and I'm mostly quite pleased with
it, especially the way it now opens the My Templates folder when I
want to do a new file from a template (this disappeared in 3.3 or 3.4,
where it just opened the templates without opening a specific folder,
but I digress).
