I'd just thought I'd confirm the same issue. We're seeing that bearerbox
receives the wrong validity_period from SMPPbox when it's set by the ESME.
We're trying to rollback to earlier versions of both SMPPbox and Kannel,
but so far without success.

Kannel can automatically do the split if you set concatenate=true and
max-messages=x where x = max number of parts. If the message is longer
it will be truncated.

I try to send a sms but i have the same problem. In my php code i use a echo to
send back the message to smsbox.
I use the group = sms-service to call my application and the reply is done with
an 'echo'.
So i try also another application did by someone on internet. The MT message
doesn't
