Send DLR request automatically without ESME intervention OpenSMPP +Kannel
Hello I would like to know if is posible to Send DLR requests automatically without ESME intervention , so far if a ESME user send a DLR request I cannot see it or keep it when is answered by the SMSC(the ESME received it perfectly) ; additionally some of my ESME customer don't use the DLR feature so the DLR status cannot be retreived and I want to know the status even if the SMS was sent by ESME. Thanks in advance Gorki
Re: Force DLR Request in OpenSMPP Kannel
Hello Friends I have installed SQLBox between BearerBox and OpenSMPPBox, I will try changing the DRL-Mask to 7. But how it works? How setting this value to 7 will force DRL Request to be called? Re: Force DLR Request in OpenSMPP Kannel
Vangelis Thanks for your answer, yesterday I tried to do this setting a default valué on the dlrmask field (send_sms table), additionally using the kannel.conf I tried using dlr-mask and dlr-url under send-sms group. Both options Didn't work at all. So, Do I have to set dlr-url and dlr-mask in the sqlbox config file? Hello friends Is there any way to enable a DLR request on OpenSMPP client even if this is not requested by the SMPP client (ESME)? I would like to keep record of the delivery success rate for billing and statistics purporses. Regards, Gorki

Re: Routing to multiple SMSCs OPENSMPP
Hi Davor, thanks for your help. I understand that in the opensmppbox config I have to set the variable *route-to-smsc* to a specific smsc-id and then in the kannel configuration file set two o more group = smsc with the same id (here use the variables allowed-smsc-id and allowed-prefix) ? Can you provide an example? I have clients connecting to me through SMPP connections who needs to send messages to more than one SMSC however OPENSMPP configuration only allows one SMSC (variable route-to-smsc) . Hello my friends I have kannel + addons SQLBOX /OPENSMPP . Today I upgraded every module from the latest SVN (svn-r5188) I ran /usr/local/kannel/sbin/bearerbox -v 0 /etc/kannel/kannel.conf /usr/local/kannel/sbin/smsbox -v 0 /etc/kannel/kannel.conf and runs perfect but after trying to start SQLBOX( /usr/local/kannel/sbin/sqlbox -v 0 /etc/kannel/kannel.conf ) I got the following error: PANIC: Trying to fetch variable `bearerbox-port' in non-existing group The configuration remains the same that I used i the `svn-r5141'. I googled it but I couldn't find a solution, please I will aprreciate any help. Thanks in advance GOrki
