I've tried to set the default for the option buttons to be selected or not

If the last part of the file name provided by the university was .ott it is
a template file, e.g. university.ott. If not .ott at end of the name it is
not a template file.
If it is a template file like university.ott...:
Unless your university specifically said it was either in Open Office format
(and was it a spreadsheet rather than a document?), Open Office might nor have
recognized the “import” when it was saving - especially if it happened in other
applications.

Is the line within your Print Range?

File - Page preview - format page - sheet. Check Grid under print

You would do better asking this on the Developer’s list rather than here on the
user’s list. Most of us here wouldn’t know a Mersenne Twister from Boston baked
beans. Another possibility: Download the source code and look for it yourself.

moved slider to 134 %
save OO and reopened OO size stayed at 134
back to view
This time there was a full pull down menu
