I have been using Open office for several years.
All of a sudden it marks all the words in a letter as misspelled. I like
using the spell check but this is ridiculous. I have tried everything I
can think of.
I have windows 7 and HP.

Is anyone for know the proper direction (parameters such as 'e-mail' or
'pohne') to an author of the letter 'List' attached here?

versuch es mal mit Datei / Speichern unter Dort kannst Du einen
Haken setzen bei Mit Kennwort speichern. Dann wird beim nächsten
Aufruf der Datei ein Kennwort verlangt.
