Is reporting a bug a fairly straightforward process? I seem to remember
trying to do so in the early days of OOo (1.0) and having some challenges.

After trying to install, 2.4.0, I now find myself without any functional
copy of OOo, with the dreaded Installer has ceased to respond. I
already have used MS Installer Cleanup, and I have purged \Windows\Temp
and ...{user}\Local Settings\Temp, as well as \Program
