Re: [libreoffice-users] Has anyone seen this happen after a LO 5.2.5 install?

I had similar after upgrade to Leap, but not with LO. I upgraded 2 near identical (but obviously not) machines. One exhibited your symptoms, the other didn't. I changed the desktop theme on the problem machine and it seemed to fix the issue. Steve On 2017-03-24 07:17, Virgil Arrington wrote:

[libreoffice-users] Open XLS directly into LibreOffice 4.1 vs double clicking on it in Windows

I have LibreOffice set up at work to default open XLS files. When I do a double click, it gives me the normal import options but otherwise goes fine. If I try to directly open that file in LibreOffice Calc, however, it kicks it out to Writer. Is this a known bug in LO? -- To unsubscribe

This may not be quite the same, but I notice that if I put my computer to sleep while LO is running, sometimes when I reopen it, I get similar behavior with LO, with various toolbar or menu items all white or blanked out. It is not always limited to LO, but also visible with some other

I had to reinstall Ubuntu MATE 14.04 to a desktop [quad core] when the 16.04 upgrade failed. Then I ran these commands, since I wanted a newer version of LibreOffice than 14.04 had in their repository. sudo apt-get remove libreoffice? sudo dpkg -i *.deb After the commands finished, I
