Well, Gene ... let's hope they listen to reason.
Your suggested editorial change does not sound like "structural" or
"organizational" changes to the handbooks (which it sounds like Carol is saying
would require following the formal process) if all they need to do is create

Thanks, Gene!
Let's hope the FTC does the right thing and issues that ruling. What a great
step forward that would be. (And too bad for the FMI, eh? ;-)

Funny how the only posts you seem to make are responses to me only. Never have
you ever made a positive contribution to metrication. But that should be a
surprise to nobody. Why don’t you just come clean and tell everyone you are a

It was the many that claimed the world was flat and the one that proved them

History is full of examples where the many were wrong and the few or one was

Hi all:
I have watched a few clips of Wanda Sykes "Ima Be Me" videos including the
one on not changing to the metric system. Her routine is someone who you can't

interpreted in both ways. At first she does mock America for not converting,

Mark. Have you even seen the video? I would presume not (based on your
words). It is not a matter of viewers being evenly divided as your comment
would suggest (a one to one ratio or 50% to 50%), but rather, as John

The responses here would indicate a many:1 ratio. Perhaps the one should review

Well if two people can view the same video, and one of them thinks the
comedian is attacking the Metric System, while the other person thinks the
humor is directed against those who support USC, then evidently the
comedian has not done a very good job in making themselves understandable.
