The bigger problem is 50 States = 50 Ways. Eventually, the Feds would have
to step in to restore some order. However, I have no problem using it
temporarily as a cattle prod to get the Feds moving on metrication; nothing
else has worked.

Funny thing about government officials. They seem to live in some fictional
world where if you don’t upset the status quo you will be popular and well
loved. Well, so much for that theory, it seems the public’s approval of the
Congress is a lowly 13 %.
I’m not a big fan of unit pricing, as I don’t see it as an effective means of
price comparisons. Yes, you can compare the price of brand A to brand B in the
same store, but what about the price of the same brand between stores?
