Well, It is kind of working again for some reason.
But, I already have the braille display setting to show onscreen keyboard; but
I'm away from home and did not bring it with me.
But, like I say; it is working right now, though it still plays the sound like
QuickNav is involved.

Do you sometimes use a braille display? If so, connect it and bring up an edit
field. Then on the display, press Space with 146 (the SH symbol for Show/Hide).
This should reveal the keyboard. Then turn off the display. the keyboard should
remain.
