at least, is adding ide=nodma to the end your grub kernel start line. It
seems that some CF drives have trouble keeping up with certain more modern
brands of CF, and turning off the dma seems to help in some of these

I have used the current stable version of Voyage with gps and ntp to get
current time sync many times. The gps/ntp solution that works for me, and
is documented on their site, uses gpsd 2.32+ (http://gpsd.berlios.de/) and
SiRf3 GPS, which can be had USB or serial, although gpsd supports

Does anyone know which (if any) of the 2.6.x pre-made voyage kernels include
usbserial module in their default build? I know serial_cs is a pretty new
test thing, but I wonder if the usbserial might already have been in their
for a while, to support things like the PC5220.

I am trying to build a voyage 0.2 boot disk for a Soekris
4801 with a PCMCIA slot. I am building this on a full x86 PC using a
Knoppix boot. I have a CF card drive in the full PC set to /dev/hda.
Two issues:
