but I have just been reading some documention (below) which seems to

Is this the case?
Thanks for your
Thats a very interesting document you've found James. The question is

Hi,
In one of websites which I am doing I must put virtual visits done in
QuickTime. If I use EMBED to see the visits in not-IE navigators, website
will not validated like XHTML. Some solution? I already know the solutions
for the Flash like Flash Satay, but I don't know how apply it to a

Browser checking is a thing of the past and should be gladly forgotten.
Something that we can all thank the web standards project for.
Is there a valid reason to do browser checking? I can't think of one...

Hello All
But the sad thing is that HREOC et al don't really have the time to enforce
compliance. The onus is really on the consumer to make a case to enforce /
persuade accessibility conformance through the courts.

Not pretty much, but ALL Australian web pages. The Disability

John, I do like your idea of using the program method of working out the
padding for the top. That's an excellent idea. I'm in the process of
making my own ColdFusion picture gallery ready for sharing with others, and
this trick of yours will go well with it.
Very elegant answer I think!
Just a reminder that the next WSG Melbourne Meeting is this Monday June

Another meeting already... time flies when you're busy.
Unfortunately I will be out of town next Mon and unable to attend, but I do

John,
All you really need to consider on the Mac is Safari (which displays
pretty much identically to the Mozilla browsers in almost all cases)
and IE Mac, which has its little share of idiosyncratic MS bugs.
As far as the others are concerned (the Mozilla browsers and Opera)
they share the
