projects that are modifying these drivers.

What kernel version are you running? I know there was a patch in 2.4.21
that caused a problem with some keyboards but was supposed to fix
problems with other keyboards, you might want to take a look at
keyboard.c fix in 2.4.21 breaks my (buggy?) keyboard in the lkml
archives for July.
You never configured your X-server. Your linux distribution
probably has a utility to configure it (like xconfigurator).
You also might consider upgrading to a version of XFree86
that's not so old. If you have relatively new hardware such
an old XFree86 version may not support it. With

Big trouble. I can't load it at all. I couldn't load it in the
original release with redhat either, but then i read in some forum about people
with Radeon cards that mad it work with you newest release. This however didn't
work for me.
