Couple more things. If I have the resolution and Color depth the same
as the Running Xfree86(highest resolution available). However anything
lower, or higher then what I have the picture gets all messed up and you
cant make anything out.

[dri] r128.o kernel module version is 2.1.6 but version 2.2 or greater is
needed

I went to http://www.xfree86.org/~alanh/ and downloaded and installed the
latest kernel drivers but all I get is unresolved symbols.
