I have a GNU cross compiler toolchain for PowerPC for
Linux and I am trying to compile XFree86 source
for PowerPC on a fedora X86 PC.
It would be of great help if anyone could suggest a
procedure for the same.
Give me document/link related to cross compiling xfree86 for powerpc

While cross compiling xfree86 for powerpc architecture,
Iam getting the following error
*crt1.o: No such file: No such file or directory*
But that file is avilable at /drv1/74xx_compiler/ppc_74xx/lib/

Iam trying to cross compile xfree 4.7 for powerpc
iam facing the following issue

For an embedded board with powerpc processor, I have successfully cross
compiled xfree86 for PPC.
I merged the xfree with the nfs.
I can able to boot the board with this root file system on loading the
prompt it displays all directories
but on entring into etc directory,
*/etc # cd X11

I have integrated xfree with the file system
If i boot the board and run the following command it throws illegal
instruction
# /usr/X11R6/bin/XFree86 -configure
Illegal instruction
Please Help me to solve the above issue

Iam using Xfree4.7.0 crosscompiled on a 7448 powerpc board with Marvell
system controller
Marvel *PCI 0* is connected to PMC site in which* PMC silicon motion vga
card *is used
Marvel *PCI 1* has *TSI 148* chip.
The devices are not detected on running scanpci ... Help me to solve the
issue

while configuring and running the driver access some illegal memory area and
iam geting oops kernel access bad area..
I need to debug the video driver.. ( reg its IOBASE,mem base etc)
I added printf inside the driver

tundra system controller. On pci bus
(II) PCI: 00:00:0: chip 10e3,0148 - vme
(II) PCI: 00:02:0: chip 10b5,6520 - pci to pci bridge
