helo command without a domain is invalid and some mail servers check if
helodomain and rdns lookup of remote ip are the same.

The only thing I can think of is:
1. When the message was first sent it was marked as going to a specific
IP addresses and it keeps trying to go

Ok changed first line to a different domain and then defrosted the
message and it still gives me a Mailloop detected error. Only on the
messages that are frozen everything I try to send to that domain right
now today goes fine straight through to their server. Just these
messages that were frozen
You didn't create them when you installed xmail, so yes it will.

I have this setup on my backup server for all of the rest of the domains
that we host and it seems to work fine. It is only these messages for
this one particular domain. From what I understand the smtp command
tells it to keep retrying until the end of the timeout period to contact
the primary

for the afore mentioned domain. Therefore when the primary MX server for
that domain goes down all mail will be redirected back to our
mailserver. With the line smtp it should receive the mail and hold it
