Hi all,
Every now and then, my system echoes strange error messages which are
also logged in '/var/log/messages'. They look like this :
Oct 7 17:19:25 server1 XMail[551]: Invalid command WAIT in file
/storage/MailRoot/spool/9/12/cust/1191770364959.13572.e.server1.my_fqdn=
Nov 9 16:03:36
this line solved the problem.
Again, many thanks for your support.

Dear Fred,
Are you sure port 25 is blocked for outbound?
Maybe I've got it wrong, but how does your e-mail client send it's mails
to the rest of the world? Which smtp-server do you use in Outlook or
whatever you use? Maybe you can use it as a mail-forwarder (smarthost)?

Hi Vladimir,
You have to ask your provider (the who has given you your ip-address) if
they can add a PTR-record for you ip-address which (reverse)resolves to
hostname.domainname.tld
