there soon, but Xgl isn't that mature anyway. A lot of issues are
still uncovered and hardware support cannot be considered as mature as
well.

SuSE definitely has a larger amount of developers and they do use
Gnome. So I am open minded and try to hit as less walls as possible
while trying to get Xgl working for Yoper. Any help appreciated.

So, I propose we get it work before worrying. Xorg 7.1 is on the run,
and that is enough reason for me to upgrade X . Given the fact that
Yoper Development is somewhat slower than anyone of us likes we have
to upgrade the system from time to time anyway (IMHO).

XFS. The bug is fixed in the mainline and I work on a fix right now.

this libstdc++ error is caused by the line /opt/gcc-3.4.3/lib/ being
listed before /usr/lib . Reordering this, solves the issue. However I
will work on a system side fix as well.

this is a valid point and allowing to select the location of the
bootloader is a must have feature for the final. Looking at the
current schedule I would say this feature should be implemented in the

repository on the CD. Whereas the livecd has all packages installed.

rather like to have greyish
buttons with an hint of red but I am unable to create some. I used
chaks themes as a start and haven't fully polished it yet.

Hi,
The Yoper team, together with lead-developer Tobias Gerschner, are
proud to announce the first release candidate of Yoper GNU/Linux 3.0,
codename 'Ilmenite'.
This release candidate is available in 3 fashions as a slim CD of
approx 146 MB. A regular CD version ( 680 MB ) and a live CD
for the moment being... oh, one more thing, you know what?
Yoper rocks!! :-D

packages, please just drop a list of candidates scheduled for moving.
