If you are really sure that disks c5t2d0 and c5t6d0 are not in use by anyone and want to add them as spares, then dd'ing 0s over the labes should suffice (front and back labels). Usual warnings about dd'ing 0s over a disk apply here. I'd probably do one at a time. eric On Apr 2, 2008, at
