I think I know the answer to this one but I could use some assurance
that I'm on the right track. I have a Redhat 7.1 system configured with
NFS and am trying to export a directory tree to a SCO Openserver 5
system. The subnet that the SCO system is on is permitted access
in /etc/exports. I've tried a number of optional configurations but the
consistent error I get on SCO is GETATTR failed. The directory tree
is filetype EXT2. I'm guessing that SCO is failing to recognize it
My first question is "Am I correct?"
The second question is "If I'm correct can I shrink one of my partitions
such as /home and create a new partition with a recognized file system
for export or do I have to start from scratch?" Thanks!!!!
