It's not that big of a deal... Besides I assume you are analyzing the legal repercussions when the image gets trademarked by someone else and holds it over our heads but that can happen if someone holds it in escrow-- the only solution would be having one of the board members do it, and I don't know about you guys but I don't have funds available for trademarking. And nothing precludes any of the logos from being recasted for individual components, and I don't think we would get rid of the logo ideas page, but only add a note that we've decided on an official logo.
