I am a scientist and long-time member of this forum. I stop by this forum regularly for the latest gossip, chitchat, comments, and article postings, and consider it time well spent.
Some of the postings are absolute gems for people who know how to read science. For instance, a recent posting on prions set off all kinds of bells and whistles in my CS world. How many of you heard the bells and whistles? Maybe did a little follow-up reading on Mad Cow disease? May I say to the regular complainers and pseudo-scientists on this forum, enjoy the freedoms that allow you to post your "feelings", but consider it "dumb luck" that you are even using CS.
