I find that taking CS orally only helps a little when you are a fighting a lung infection UNLESS you nebulize it. CS only works where it can reach. Taking it orally doesn't hit the bronchioles much so nebulizing is always the best protocol for lung infections. I use a little DMSO mixed in to help the CS penetrate the infection. Nebulizing has spared me several bouts with lung problems this year already. I typically was getting bronchitis/pneumonia every flu season which would take me down for a month or more. Since I started nebulizing at the first hint of an infection they don't take me down anymore. I won the battle.
