That is correct, I'm using 3.7.3.  Did you do anything besides adding 
CONFIG_FEATURE_2_4_MODULES=y to busybox.standard.config?  I tried that and 
recompiled, but I'm now failing in the same insmod step with an even more 
sinister: 

insmod: ELF file not found for this architecture
insmod: Could not load the module: Success

Any ideas?
