Assuming you did run si_prepareclient, can you post the log of that and the output when you run si_mkautoinstallcd? BTW, I think 3.7.3 currently has issues with imaging 2.4 kernel golden images (am I right Andrea?) so you might want to wait for 3.7.4 is released (or try one of our snapshots...)
