Hi Mitch: So how did you get 3.7.4? Did you use one of our pre-built RPMs or did you build from source? If you used our RPMs which revision was it? Have you tried to use network boot as opposed to using the boot CD? Cheers, Bernard

A few things that might or might not be significant: This is RH 3, Update3 and Update8 both the same behavior I'm using a monolithic (no modules) 2.6.7-mjb2 kernel from kernel.org with Ingo Molnar's 4G/4G split patches (the reason for the old 2.6 kernel). This allows 3.9GB virtual memory on a 32-bit machine, much like RH hugemem for 32-bit. I'm using XFS for the / filesystem but /boot is ext-2, so it's been hand-built from that aspect. This works fine with 64-bit machines. The SI server is 64-bit, these clients are 32-bit. It appears as though the "UDF-fs: No Partitions Found (1)" message may not be what's wrong. It's what happens right after this message and whatever is being scanned by the kernel. It seems to be mounting up the boot CD OK, it begins to fail as the kernel is bringing NET devices online (remember, it's monolithic, no modules). Obviously, this UYOK runs fine on the golden image client. Additionally, an almost identical scenario works fine on 64-bit Opteron H/W.
