so if i just removed the LBA flag, which is where the start of the extended partition begins, would that blow things up?? i mean i could try it, but it seems like it would cause probs. > Moreover how big is the disk in your client? client and golden client and image server are all the exact same machines.. Is it correct? yes.. the size before the last partition seems about right. 86153MB + end of disk should = ~140G. like i said, reducing the last partition to an end size of say ~32G from ~51G seems to solve the issue, but only randomly. i still get the out of memory errors at times with the client receiving the image. i reboot, re-run thru the image deploy and things seem to work. btw, i can add a /dev/sda10 afterwards and format that device with no problems. thanks for your help! =ted= ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
