I am having this same issue as well; I want to clone Dell PowerEdge 2950's. I use the UYOK option to make the CD, either with no option, or targeting the /etc/systemconfig/boot/ dir of my created image, and every boot cd fails.
I read the UYOK page several times. I get the same error as: Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(1,0) However, I was under the impression that using the UYOK option would make sure my ramdisk was the exact size needed. -- This message was sent on behalf of [EMAIL PROTECTED] at openSubscriber.com http://www.opensubscriber.com/message/[email protected]/5613949.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
