No, maybe Stefan?

Well, there's these http://cvs.apache.org/builds/jakarta-slide/nightly/
Any idea where they came from?

Is that possible?

Should we setup some sort of automated nightly build just using ant? I don't think this kind of thing happens very often, but it would help catch some problems.

Thanks for taking care of all this. I guess Slide is one of your
most troublesome projects, right?

Not really. Cocoon and Tapestry are far worse since I don't have
commit access to their respective Gump descriptors 8-)

That relievs me ;)

Seriously, Slide has a whole lot of dependencies and thus simply
doesn't get built by Gump at all for longer periods of time (when one
of its dependencies is broken and doesn't get fixed). This means that
things slip in and are not noticed for a longer time, which in turn
means more cleanup work to do.

For the same reasons it is more vulnerable to API changes in other
projects. I don't dare to build Slide against httpclient's CVS HEAD
instead of the 2.x branch for this reason.

What surprises me is that things like the current problem don't get
caught by non-Gump builds, since it is a Slide internal
incompatibility. I understand that you didn't notice it, when you
code compiled cleanly but you simply forgot to commit it.

Right! And obviously no one updated my changes and did a build afterwards.
