The oldest virtualized CPU is: PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE=x86 PROCESSOR_IDENTIFIER=x86 Family 6 Model 13 Stepping 7, GenuineIntel Both identify as Xeon E5xxx models which are about two years old. Despite the long service of the name "Xeon" these are modern Core2 based CPUs. I don't have any servers or lab machines that are so old they'd need a Pentium Pro era "compatible i686" build.
