The Boost merger has stalled, since it is not clear what kind of problem that would solve. Please note that SOCI is already the "Booster's best friend" in the area of database access and it offers a high degree of interface integration. From this perspective it should not make any difference whether it gets adopted or not (which is exactly the reason for stalling this process). Is there any particular issue or problem that you have in mind in relation to the possible inclusion to Boost?
