I thought I can do choose between 32, 64 and Any, as explained in this
article for MySQL 5.5

But, the installer for MySQL 5.6. looks different and I had not
encounter any such option really.

So, the installers provided me with 64-bit version of the MySQL server and
MySQL Connector/C, but strangely it installed 32-bit version of
MySQL Connector/C++.
